Jessica Higgins (born New York City, USA 1964) is an intermedia artist, performance artist and improvisational dancer. She is a twin daughter of Alison Knowles and Dick Higgins, who are founding members of the art movement. Ms. Higgins is closely associated with curator Lance Fung, late Fluxus gallerist Emily Harvey, The International Artist's Museum, Construction In Process and has performed and collaborated as a youth in original Fluxus related events as a dancer and performer. She has performed her own works and works by Nam June Paik, Alison Knowles, Yoko Ono, Mieko Shiomi, Larry Miller and Eric Andersen and dance performance with film maker and intermedia artist Elaine Summers. "My work is primarily conceptual intermedia using action, installation and dance." | ||
