Harriet Bograd has always loved taking classes in creative movement and improvisation, and has studied over the years with Elaine Summers, Nancy Zendora, Dorothy Vislocky, Ann Smith, and Irving Burton. She is 66 years old, a Yale Law School graduate, and she currently is volunteer president of Kulanu (kulanu.org), working especially with Jewish communities in Africa. Since 2005, she has performed in Elaine Summers' Invitation to Secret Dancers and Hidden Forest at Lincoln Center, and with the Shua Group in 1E42 Crowded Action, Fill, Intersection Play, and GiantSpaceDetail. Harriet loves working with the dancers and choreographers of Elaine Summers Dance and the SHUA Group. She is happily married to Ken Klein and proud mother of Margie and Sarah. | |
